%X This paper describes the implementation of the hidrography category information the conceptual model, about the Technical Specification for the Structuring of Data Vectorial Geospatial (ET-EDGV), in a spatial relational database management system. The physical modelling of the spatial-temporal database was developed with the Sybase PowerDesigner CASE tool. The spatial-temporal database implementation was done using Structured Query Language. The contribution of this work is the spatial-temporal database implementation, hidrography category information from ET-EDGV version 2.1.3, for the spatial relational database management system PostgreSQL version 9.1 and PostGIS 2.0. It was concluded that ET-EDGV adoption enables the geographical data standardization and normalization stores in the spatial relational database management system.
